Terms of use

Please read these terms before using this website or booking a visit.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of virtualfootdoc.com and to booking telehealth visits with Virtual Foot Doc, operated by United Podiatry, PLLC. By using this website or booking a visit, you agree to these terms.
Website information is not medical advice
The information on this website is general and educational. It is not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation for you, and reading it does not create a doctor–patient relationship. A doctor–patient relationship begins only when you book a visit and Dr. Rashid accepts and begins your care.
Not for emergencies
Virtual Foot Doc does not provide emergency care. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Who can be seen
Telehealth visits are available only to patients who are physically located in California, Texas, Florida, Missouri, Hawaii, New Hampshire, or Vermont at the time of the visit. You agree to tell us accurately where you are located. Patients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present for the entire visit.
Dr. Rashid may decline or end a telehealth visit if he believes telehealth is not appropriate or safe for your concern, and will explain what to do next.
Fees and payment
All visits are self-pay at the flat fees published on this website. We do not bill insurance or submit claims. A card is kept on file when you book and is charged only after your visit is completed. You receive an itemized receipt and a superbill, which you may submit to your insurer; reimbursement is not guaranteed.
If Dr. Rashid cannot safely complete a written assessment from the information you provide, you are not charged for that written assessment.
Fees may change in the future. The fee that applies to your visit is the fee shown when you book. You have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before your visit.
Prescriptions
Prescriptions are issued only when Dr. Rashid judges them appropriate and permitted under the law of the state where you are located. Controlled substances are not prescribed through Virtual Foot Doc.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information, including your identity, health history, medications, and location, and to follow up with in-person care when advised.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse this website, attempt to access systems without permission, or submit information that is false or belongs to someone else without authority.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Virtual Foot Doc and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, except where the law of the state in which you received care requires otherwise.
