Virtual Foot Doc is a telehealth service operated by United Podiatry, PLLC. Clinical care is provided by Dr. Ahmad Rashid, DPM. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Virtual Foot Doc and United Podiatry, PLLC.

We use your information to provide and document your care, send prescriptions to your pharmacy when appropriate, communicate with you about your visit, process payment, provide receipts and superbills, meet legal and professional obligations, and keep our systems secure.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal or health information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We share information only as needed to provide your care and run the practice: with the secure electronic health record and scheduling system we use, our payment processor, pharmacies and laboratories you are referred to, and other clinicians when you ask us to or when it is needed for your care. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Medical records

Your medical records are kept in a secure electronic health record and retained as required by the laws of the state where you were located during your care. You may request a copy of your records, or ask us to correct them, by emailing arashid@nhfootdoctor.com.

Email and messaging

Regular email is not a secure way to send health information. Please do not email photos, records, or medical details. Use the secure patient portal instead.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a medical practice to protect your information. No system is completely secure, but we work to limit access to those who need it to provide your care.

Third-party services

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address. Links to other websites, including Dr. Rashid’s other websites, are governed by those sites’ own policies.

Children

Patients under 18 are seen only with a parent or legal guardian present. A parent or guardian provides the information and consent for a minor’s care.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of certain information, subject to medical record retention laws. To make a request, email arashid@nhfootdoctor.com.
